Visionary Leader of the National Flagship Initiative – “Padharo Mhare Desh Bharat (Welcome to My Country, India)”

Introduction

Mr. Amarjeet Kr. Thakur, popularly known as Amarjeet Gnarly, is one of India’s most dynamic youth leaders, social entrepreneurs, and cultural diplomats. As the Founder President of the Gnarly Troop Global Federation, he has emerged as a powerful voice in youth empowerment, sustainable development, cultural exchange, and peacebuilding.

He is widely respected for conceptualizing and leading “Padharo Mhare Desh Bharat (Welcome to My Country, India),” a national flagship initiative formally recognized by the Hon’ble Union Minister of Culture & Tourism, Government of India. The initiative projects Bharat’s spiritual wisdom, cultural heritage, civilizational values, festivals, and cuisines on the global stage while advancing the 4C’s Vision – Climate, Community, Culture, and Cooperation. Guided by the Troop Spirit motto, “My Country, My Responsibility, My Pride,” Amarjeet has positioned India as a global beacon of inclusiveness, sustainability, and cultural leadership.

Beyond being a leader, Amarjeet is a movement builder, inspiring governments, communities, and youth across continents to work together for peace, justice, and shared progress.

Flagship Leadership – Padharo Mhare Desh Bharat

Amarjeet’s leadership of the Padharo Mhare Desh Bharat campaign has redefined India’s approach to cultural diplomacy.

  • December 2024: The initiative achieved a historic milestone in Jaipur, where the Padharo Mhare Desh Bharat Summit & Cultural Exchange was inaugurated by the Hon’ble Union Minister of Culture & Tourism, Government of India. The summit brought together diplomats, ministers, youth leaders, and cultural icons.
  • The summit also hosted the Troop Marathon under the mission “Clean Air and Blue Skies,” organized with the support of key Ministers from the Government of Rajasthan. This event underscored India’s commitment to environmental stewardship and climate responsibility while mobilizing thousands of youth and citizens.
  • February 2026: The initiative is set to reach its next landmark at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, where the Summit, Exhibition, and Global Cultural Exchange will convene global leaders, ambassadors, ministers, and cultural institutions. The gathering is envisioned as a global platform to strengthen India’s leadership in climate diplomacy, cultural values, and people-to-people cooperation.

Under Amarjeet’s stewardship, Padharo Mhare Desh Bharat has grown from a campaign into a living national mission that unites climate action with culture, sustainability with heritage, and diplomacy with community pride.
