Shri Hari Shanker Singh is a distinguished nationalist thinker, institution builder, and visionary leader committed to India’s civilizational values, educational heritage, and nation-building ethos. An alumnus of Banaras Hindu University (BHU), he is deeply inspired by the ideals and philosophy of Bharat Ratna Mahamana Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya Ji, particularly the principle of “Act Locally, Think Globally.”
As National President of the Mahamana Malaviya Mission, New Delhi, Shri Singh has played a historic role in the preservation, compilation, and dissemination of Mahamana Ji’s intellectual and ideological legacy. Under his leadership, the monumental project “Mahamana Malaviya Vangmay”—the complete literary and ideological works of Mahamana Ji—has been compiled and published in two comprehensive series.
The first series, comprising 11 Khands, was released on 25 December 2023 by the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi.
The second and final series, comprising 12 Khands, was released on 25 December 2025 by the Hon’ble Vice President of India at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi.
Further advancing Mahamana Ji’s vision of knowledge and inclusive education, Shri Singh is spearheading the construction of the Madan Mohan Library & Research Centre, a national knowledge institution aimed at benefiting students, scholars, universities, and underprivileged learners across the country.
Professionally, Shri Singh has served as General Manager (Infrastructure Division) and has been associated with several prestigious infrastructure and development projects under Government of India enterprises, contributing significantly to national capacity-building and public sector excellence.
Currently, as Patron and Executive Committee Member of the Gnarly Troop Global Federation, he provides strategic guidance to major national and global initiatives focused on cultural revival, youth leadership, experiential learning, and nation-building. He plays a key role in strengthening the Federation’s flagship mission, “Welcome to My Country – India (Padharo Mhare Desh Bharat)”, aligned with the national vision of Viksit Bharat.
