Program Schedule

Arrival Day (Sunday):

  • Arrival at Gaya Airport and transfer to Bodh Gaya.
  • Evening orientation to introduce participants to Bodh Gaya’s historical and cultural significance, project goals, and schedule.

Day 1 (Monday):

  • Guided tour of the Mahabodhi Temple Complex and Bodh Gaya’s cultural sites, including Sujata Kuti and the Great Buddha Statue.
  • Project orientation to align with community objectives.

Days 2-3 (Tuesday & Wednesday):

  • Educational Support: Assist in local schools with literacy programs, tutoring, and extracurricular activities.
  • Cultural Preservation: Work with local artisans on traditional crafts, including Madhubani painting and bamboo craft workshops.

Day 4 (Thursday):

  • Environmental Awareness: Conduct workshops on water conservation, renewable energy use, and plastic waste reduction.
  • Sustainable Tourism: Collaborate on eco-tourism initiatives, focusing on community-based tourism, heritage preservation, and guided tours.

Day 5 (Friday):
