Program Schedule:
  • Arrival Day, Sunday: Volunteers arrive at Jaipur International Airport. They will be transferred to their accommodation and attend an orientation session in the evening, where they will learn about Jaipur’s culture, history, and their volunteer duties.
  • Day 1, Monday: The program begins with a cultural introduction to Jaipur. Volunteers will visit key landmarks like Hawa Mahal (the Palace of Winds), Amber Fort, and Jantar Mantar. They will engage in educational activities, including assisting in community schools or educational programs aimed at empowering local youth.
  • Days 2-3, Tuesday & Wednesday: Volunteers will focus on heritage preservation projects. These could include assisting in the restoration of historical monuments, helping maintain Jaipur’s iconic architecture, or contributing to the conservation efforts at the City Palace or Amer Fort. Volunteers may also assist in promoting Jaipur’s traditional arts and crafts by working in workshops with local artisans.
  • Day 4, Thursday: Volunteers will engage in rural outreach programs, focusing on education and women’s empowerment. This could include teaching English, organizing skill-building workshops, or promoting hygiene and health awareness. In the afternoons, volunteers will have the chance to visit local markets to observe and assist in the promotion of traditional crafts, including block printing, pottery, and gemstone work.
  • Day 5, Friday: Environmental sustainability will be a focus on this day. Volunteers will participate in initiatives that aim to reduce waste, promote water conservation, and educate the local community about sustainable practices.   • Days 6-7, Saturday & Sunday: Weekends are free for volunteers to explore Jaipur:
    • Jaipur Heritage Walk: Volunteers can enjoy guided tours of Jaipur’s historical landmarks, including the majestic City Palace, Jantar Mantar, and the Palace of Winds (Hawa Mahal).
    • Shopping and Culture Tour: Explore the colorful bazaars, including Johari Bazaar, for traditional handicrafts, jewelry, and textiles.
    • Festivals & Cultural Events: Depending on the season, volunteers may be able to participate in vibrant cultural festivals like Teej, Diwali, or the Elephant Festival.

Volunteer Age Requirements:
