Volunteer to care for local children at a boarding school in Ghana! Many of the teachers in Accra are overworked and in urgent need of assistance. With a rising shortage of teachers and educators, school children often don’t get the individual, one-on-one help and support that they need. Your assistance in the classroom will help to ensure that children get more of the attention that they require in order to learn in a most effective way. However, this project consists of more than traditional lesson assistance; you will be involved in classroom games as well as renovation work on the school building.
